Sheron Public Senior Secondary School was established in 2004 by Er. Ajit Singh. Sheron Public School recognizes every student's potential, coaxes it out of its hesitant shell, nurtures it, and brings it to life. In Sheron Public School, we realize that education is not just about scoring high marks in a test.
Education is about accepting defeat on the sports field gracefully and finding joy in the victories of others. It is about greeting everyone with a smile. It is about sharing one's learning with others.
Our values are common to many other educational institutions: the development of moral character, self-esteem and a sense of responsibility; the fulfillment of academic and leadership potential; critical, analytical and independent thinking; well-rounded, balanced and healthy living; appreciation for what is true, good and beautiful in one's own and other cultures.
We believe that Woodstock provides a physical, social and spiritual environment in which these values can be more than just words, but can become part of the lives of our students.
School is structured on these levels-namely Primary School (classes III-V), Middle School (classes VI-VIII), and the Senior School (classes IX-XII). The curriculum encourages students to develop an understanding of key concepts and ideas. In this way, a sound base is built to equip students with the appropriate attitudes and skills. Concept teaching is the base of the learning’s and teaching process in the school. Projects, activity oriented and content centric teaching is introduced at the Middle School level. Cross curriculum understanding is encouraged through theme-based teaching.
